Obnoxious drunk doesn't get the picture until about the 5th time he gets shocked. Also - to the "police brutality" crowd - are you watching the same video? This is a state trooper in a rural post, his backup could be anywhere from 10-30 minutes away and probably from a different agency. Would you really want to get in to a physical struggle with someone if you have a tool at your disposal that will take care of the problem? Should you roll around and fight with the guy on the ground while trying to retain your firearm? The reason the guy keeps getting shocked is simple - he refuses to comply and keeps attempting to stand up and get back in his vehicle. Please... get a clue already.

www.myspace.com - A police officer in the Syracuse, New York, area Tasered a 37-year-old mom repeatedly in front of her children during a routine traffic stop—and then arrested the mom, leaving the children alone in their family minivan for 40 minutes in freezing weather. The incident took place in Onondaga County, New York, on January 31, but dashcam video of the incident only recently came to light. According to a report at syracuse.com, what started out as a routine traffic stop escalated quickly when 37-year-old Audra Harmon challenged officer Sean Andrews assertion that she had been talking on her cell phone when he pulled her over. Harmon disputed that fact, as well as the officers claim that she had been speeding—doing 50 mph in a 45 zone. An article at MSNBC.com describes the situation: Harmon had been driving home with her 15-year-old son, whom she had just picked up from wrestling practice, and 5-year-old daughter. She said she was resting her right hand on her cheek as she pulled behind a sheriffs deputy to make a right turn onto the road where she lived. After she made the turn, the deputy pulled off the road to let her pass, then pulled out behind her with his lights flashing and siren blaring. When Harmon got out of her minivan to show Officer Andrews that she wasnt in possession of a cell phone, and to ask to see video footage of her allegedly talking on the cell phone she didnt possess, the officer ordered her to get back in her car. So I just got out of the shower and I went up stairs and my little brother had a taser for some gosh darned reason so I thought it'd be a brilliant idea if he tasered me, haha. The first time it sounded really painful and I freaked out but then I realized it didn't hurt at all so I got him to do it again...I now have a huge bruise from it, haha. Hatcher said he shot two Taser darts at Kailee Martinez, 14, Thursday while responding to a domestic dispute between the girl and her mother. One hit her in the head and the other struck her back. Martinez said she was released from Albuquerques University of New Mexico Hospital on Sunday following a two-hour surgery to remove one of the darts from her head. The surgery left her with 18 staples and six stitches. "I feel good being home," Martinez said Tuesday. "It is a lot better than being in a hospital." Martinez mother, Stacy Akin, said she drove her daughter to police headquarters after they fought about a cell phone. Hatcher said the girl walked away from the police station and when he talked with Akin she had a bloody lip and scratches from a fight. Hatcher said he found the girl in a city park, but when he tried to talk to her she ran into traffic without looking. Hatcher said he was unable to catch her and used the stun gun because he didnt know where she might go and he had to get her stopped. "I was going to the park to clear my mind," Martinez said. Kerry says he will answer it. he then answers a previous question someone else asked (i cut that part out because it isnt important to this video) then the guy asks his questions and when he is done all hell breaks lose. to the cop haters: i have no doubt the cops were going exactly by the book, the problem isnt them, its the book! they were doing their job and looked just as confused as this kid (this isnt something that they deal with often).

This video is an excellent example of proper use of force with a taser-gun. A very intoxicated suspect resists the officer's repeated lawful commands both verbally and physically. The officer finally has to taser suspect to prevent him from getting back into his vehicle, thus saving lives us innocent motorist. Note how many times the officer tells him to put his hands behind his back. The taser-gun kept the officer and the suspect from receiving injury.
