DOLAN's "FILM THE POLICE" pays tribute to NWA's infamous "F*ck the Police," serving as a call to action for the digitized media movement while responding to the recent explosion of police brutality all across the world. This free MP3, courtesy of STRANGE FAMOUS RECORDS, features a reconstruction of Dr. Dre's original beat, brilliantly reanimated by UK producer BUDDY PEACE. Label CEO, SAGE FRANCIS, opens the song by picking up the gavel where Dr. Dre left it 23 years ago, introducing a blistering, true-to-style flip of Ice Cube's original verse by SFR cornerstone, B. Dolan. TOKI WRIGHT (Rhymesayers Entertainment) follows up by stepping into the shoes of MC Ren, penning the people's struggle against cops as a case of "Goliath Vs. a bigger giant." Finally, Jasiri X (Pittsburgh rapper/activist) rounds out the track by filling in for Eazy-E, reminding us that police brutality disproportionately affects poor people of color. With the Occupy Movement bringing various forms of injustice to the forefront of people's consciousness, "Film the Police" is a reminder that cops have been a continued and increasingly militarized presence in public streets. Thanks to the widespread use of smartphones and video cameras, along with the popularity of social networks such as Twitter and Facebook, the power of the media has been put back into the people's hands as they document the injustices perpetrated by those who ...

(Video courtesy - www.komonews.com) Seattle police are again under fire over allegations of violence, the second time in only a matter of weeks. Video footage appeared to show a Seattle officer punching a teenage girl in the face after stopping her for jaywalking. That followed a case a few weeks before where police were caught beating an unarmed and innocent Mexican man. A scandal also erupted last year with an officer convicted of a vicious attack on a 15-year-old girl in a jail cell.

In what was possibly the most surreal, horrific, and unimaginable thing I have ever witnessed in my life, 1200 Riot Police and Military Personal rabidly attacked a group of well under 300 American citizens, many of them just students that were unaware there was even a protest going on. They then expanded their perimeter and shut large areas of Oakland down. This is how my last experience at the G20 in Pittsburgh went down, out of control authorities mercilessly attacking an unarmed crowd with batons, tear gas, pepper spray, sound weapons, and rubber bullets. Around 10pm on Friday night, long after the vast majority of dignitaries and protesters had left, it became evident that the outrageous show of force by the Military and Police was not enough to stave off their thirst for blood. ***PARDON THE BAD AUDIO VOLUME WHEN THEY WERE SPEAKING. THE CAMERA COULDNT PICK THEM UP TOO WELL WITH THE WINDS*** This video is meant to explain why the term "fuck the police" is used among a lot of people. especially in the urban community. This video is basically trying to show another side to the coin. i personally have many good friends who are police. but even they will testify that not alll cops are good. it also raises questions among the black community regarding what we take seriously and what we just brush off. lastly, the video touches on the power of the people. we have the power to change the world and not depend on the government to do it for us.

Open letter from an ex-tea partier to OWS- How not to get co-opted-www.reddit.com Declaration of the Occupation of New York City: As we gather together in solidarity to express a feeling of mass injustice, we must not lose sight of what brought us together. We write so that all people who feel wronged by the corporate forces of the world can know that we are your allies. As one people, united, we acknowledge the reality: that the future of the human race requires the cooperation of its members; that our system must protect our rights, and upon corruption of that system, it is up to the individuals to protect their own rights, and those of their neighbors; that a democratic government derives its just power from the people, but corporations do not seek consent to extract wealth from the people and the Earth; and that no true democracy is attainable when the process is determined by economic power. We come to you at a time when corporations, which place profit over people, self-interest over justice, and oppression over equality, run our governments. We have peaceably assembled here, as is our right, to let these facts be known. They have taken our houses through an illegal foreclosure process, despite not having the original mortgage. They have taken bailouts from taxpayers with impunity, and continue to give Executives exorbitant bonuses. They have perpetuated inequality and discrimination in the workplace based on age, the color of one's skin, sex, gender identity and ...

The court threw the thing out. Score one for the good guys. Can't post the link.... google michael allison aquitted knewcomb 1 week ago No Court Reporter You can't record your self for your own record either I found this video on YT and hand to upload it for my video replies and responses and to educate. This is to protect police corruption. The police can film your audio on public streets but you can't film them? Thats corruption with in its self. So police can verbally abuse you and you have no way to prove your innocents. A Police Officers words is over your word in a court of law. So another words a corrupt police officer can say hes going to kill you and your hole family and what not and theres no way to prove he is in the wrong. You can film them you just can't capture audio. I bet they are going to use this when they blow up the Sears Tower in Chicago IL, like they blew up the world trade centers in New York City just to blame on other country's for their oil. Its a perfect place to do and inside job like 9/11, 2001. Because for one you, wouldn't be allowed to hear the controlled demolitions going off inside the buildings and you wouldn't be able to hear the police officer or first responders say... "Get away from the buildings because they have bombs in it!" like you can hear on lots of videos from 9/11 2001. Like this video link of first responders telling you about the controlled demolitions inside the world trade center that blew some of them up. Bombs going ...

It is no secret that the United States has a serious problem with police abuse, brutality, and corruption. It is essential for civilians to document their encounters with police officers to ensure transparency, accountability, and safety to all of those involved. Police departments have, for too long, tried to bully, intimidate, threaten, arrest, or otherwise harass law abiding citizens from recording the activities of law enforcement in public. Enough is enough! It is time for all of us to take a stand and expose police brutality when we witness it. Even if the officers behavior is correct, and justifiable, we still encourage the recording of the police activities for the transparency and accountability that is desperately needed in many departments. CopsOutofControl on facebook: www.facebook.com A police brutality discussion. "Like" it! An explosive videotape that appears to show a group of Houston police officers beating a black teen burglary suspect last March has led to the firing and indictment of those officers, and a flaring controversy. A surveillance camera caught the end of a police chase of 15-year-old Chad Holley, who had allegedly burglarizing a home. Holley goes right to the ground, face-down, hands over his head, as if to surrender. But then, reports CBS News correspondent Seth Doane, one officer appears to stomp on Holley's head, while others kick him. One cop seems to land five kicks. Then, another officer punches him again, and again. As he's picked up, there's another kick. "They just started kicking me from there, and I blanked out," Holley says. The video wasn't supposed to be seen yet by the public, but was leaked by community activist Quannel X of the New Black Panthers Party this week. He told "Early Show on Saturday Morning" co-anchor Russ Mitchell he was "shocked" when he first saw the tape. "I was appalled," he said. "I was absolutely angry at what they were doing, these police officers, to this young man who was on the ground. You could clearly see he surrendered, he gave up, and the beating he took was absolutely unnecessary. It was shameful." "We hear these stories all the time in our community, all the time,"

This incident happened on Christmas in South Bend Indiana where a man was unconscious or asleep in his vehicle and was approached and harassed by 3 goon cops who basically threaten to shoot him for not responding to them knocking on his car window. He is then tasered and assaulted by these criminals and had to be taken to the hospital for his injuries. To make matters worse, he is then charged with 3 counts of battery on police officers and for "resisting arrest". Thanks to www.youtube.com for the video and info.
